Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller

Hi,

Just got back home from my first tow with the new brake controller. Only about an hour and a half each way, but what a difference. This thing is smooth as smooth can be. The difference in the way this one works vs my old time delayed one is amazing. Should have done this a long time ago. Thanks for listening.

I had the same thoughts when I went from time based to proportional. Night and day difference.

I've had the Tekonsha controllers on three different tow rigs including the old Class C I had. They work great. Quality units.

The last time I bought one I checked out ratings first and the best ratings went to Prodigy. It did work well. Today the controler is built in the dash of the Ford. It is proportional, adjustable and does a good job too. Wouldn't surprise me if it's a Prodigy.

I have a Prodigy controller in my E350 Club Wagon, the primary tow vehicle and my F150 as well. Of the brake controllers I have had, I like these the best.

I've been using a Prodigy since 2006 for the race car trailer, and now the TT as well. Best brake controller IMO, period.
