Saturn T-2251 ball size

Hi, my first post.....my wife just bought a T-2251 and told me to go bring it home.

What size ball is required, 2" 2 1/2", etc.

Thanks

Rich

Hi Rich,

Congrats on your new 2251! The ball size would be 2 5/16", the larger of the two common sizes.

We like to see pics here, so if you get a chance, post some up. I had a 2251 a few years ago that I did some mods to, so I'm curious if that's the one or not since you're in Michigan.

Jon

Hi,

Curious about the T-2251 also. Sold ours last year after upgrading to the 2363. It ended up over in the Battle Creek area.

Thanks Jon, new question, I have leveled the trailer used four corner jacks, put in front and rear of one tire the angled wheel stops but, what tricks are there for preventing forward / backward movement? Moves back and forth a little. Be nice if I could turn on the wheel brakes

Rich

We use these on both sides of the trailer, between the wheels. Virtually eliminates forward/backward rocking. There are other styles available, including homemade versions. Anything that essentially "locks" the two tires together will prevent the movement.

x2. Any movement that happens with those in is in the tire sidewalls or in the leaf springs.
