Pam,

Glade you had a good trip. How was Maine?

Great towing mileage, wish I got that. Best I’ve gotten is 11.5 mpg driving at 60 mph.

I’ve also notices on our truck the calculated mpg is ~ .5 mpg better then what the truck’s DIC indicates it is. So if that 15.333 mpg is what you read from your truck’s DIC, your actual mpg is probably better, maybe closer to 16 mpg towing.

Hutch, I didn't know the DIC had that info. I know how to get tran temp., trip counter, oil life, but not mpg. When I get out of laundry, grocery, QUE cleaning mode I'll have to break out the owner's manual.

My calculated MPG is consistently about 1 mpg better than that reported by the DIC.

Our Driver Information Center, DIC, is the more basic one which doesn't give us the mpg. The 15.333 is calculated.
Maine is beautiful. I wish we had a month to wander around up there and see the interior as well. It was chilly though. Three days only got up into the 60s. We love hiking and bicycling and the carriage roads and trails are fabulous.

i would be happy if I could get 14 mpg the Dodge gets 11 on the highway with the tt behind it. But I did get a good deal on it so I guess it averages out.
