New TV

I told my wife if I ever found a good deal on a diesel I would trade. Well she found me one and we now have a new 2008 2500HD D/A long bed. She found a dealer in the country that had been sitting on a couple of 2008 diesels and was ready to move them.

Still in the break in period but I am sure we are going to love it. When going from a 1500 to a 2500HD, I was surprised at how much more truck I had. I think the same can be said going from 6.0L gas to Duramax/Allison. I cannot wait to get it out on the road a bit more. And WOW - does the larger fuel tank on the long bed add to the range of one tank of fuel.

Congratulations you're gonna love it! Problem is it makes it real easy to forget you have the Sunline back there Not towing, we can go 600 miles on the highway before the gas light comes on. I think at that point we have 6 gallons left. We had it up to 400 towing one time before the light came on...that's kinda scarey though.

Congrats on your new TV. It goes well with your Sunny. I saw your sig pic come up in another post and said, h'mm that looks different.

The larger fuel tank, yes it is nice. That is one draw back we have with ours. Come 1/2 a tank we have to start the search to where we can pull in and still get out with the TT in tow.

Transfer Flo does sell a fuel tank upgrade to hold more fuel, (46 gals in my case) and I have the extra cargo capacity to hold the more fuel with a tank exchange under the bed, but the price is hard to swallow to just have 17 more gallons of fuel. But I'm sure it is nice once you have it.

The crew cab long bed would not fit in the garage. Right now I have 3" front bumper to wall and 3" rear bumper to overhead door...

Good luck with your new TV

John
