New Tow Rig!!

Well my 2002 F250 had New England get the best of her. With needing a bed doors and a very costly oil leak repair we decided to trade her in . I found a 2009 F250 Crew Cab Long bed for the right price and couldn't pass it up

Congrats on the new Sunny hauler! Sharp looking truck. 02 to 09, that is a big jump in technology changes. Is it a gasser or a diesel?

The 7.3 is a great engine, but age is definitely starting to get to even the newest ones. I knew someone who had a 7.3 Excursion from new and just traded it in last fall at 218k, because it too was going to start needing more extensive work and for what they're worth now, it doesn't make sense.

It looks like you have the black fender vents, so I'm guessing this one's a V10. But if it's a 6.4, you should definitely think about getting the DPF off and tune.

Sadly it's a 5.4. It's a little sluggish but I'll be working on that... They wanted $19k and I talked them down to $14,800, then was given $8500 for mine which I owned. So the balance we paid cash. I wanted a 6.4 but that's a $30k truck! Since June until this past Sat. when we traded it in I only drove my old truck 1100 miles. So I couldn't really justify the cost of another diesel.
