Moving a camper in your yard

When I had 2 Acres at my previous home, I used a JD 322 with a 3 point hitch to move my trailers. My dad made a receiver that fit on the the 3 point hitch so that you could use any ball mount with it. The only problem was the leverage with the ball being so far back from the rear axle. A few times the front wheels were too light to steer! My son bought the house and tractor and still uses it to move trailers at his house. Now that I have downsized, I have no need to move the trailer on my property. Just be careful when using small lawn tractors to move large trailers.

Take it from someone that has buried 4 wheel drive tractors don't use a garden tractor to move a camper unless it's a paved flat driveway.
