That gives me hope...maybe my current wheels can handle the higher PSI...that'd be nice!

One thing to remember is operating psi. I found this out with my tire pressure monitors. I've seen at least a 10 psi pressure rise on warm days. If your going to run high pressure I suggest getting tpms on them. I suggest them anyway. They not only monitor pressure but also heat build up.

I agree. I will definitly be getting a TPMS. I like the idea of temp monitoring too. Which one do you have and would you buy it again or get something different?

After reading allot of reviews I went with TST and yes I would by again. If they save one wheel well they paid for themselves. I'll be buying a set for my truck soon and they will all work off the same monitor. You'll need to use metal valve stems.

Got the wheels married to the tires but my lugnuts are still in the mail. Should be here in a day or two. Not an exact match but pretty similar. Very happy with the look.

I talked to Tredit and they had to do some digging to even locate my wheel's part number (3101015-WLJ09). When he finally did locate it, he said shows a 75 PSI rating and 2600lbs. The plant that manufactured them are no longer in existence. I'm not sure I should worry about 5 psi difference in this situation. I suppose I could just run new LRE tires at 75psi instead of 80... You all have thoughts?

Scott: Those wheels above that I bought are 5 lug and rated at 2150. I'm pretty sure the 6 lug wheels they sell are rated higher. In fact my wheels are stamped 5/2150&6/2830. I'm guessing that's regarding weight ratings? They happily answered all the questions I had before I bought them. They are Tredit wheels. Here's the link to where I got mine.

Trailer Wheel 14 14X5.5 5 Lug Hole Bolt Wheel Aluminum Split Spoke Black items in eCustomHitch store on eBay!

Some of their prices are for a pair of wheels, so I had to buy "2" to get 4.

Got the wheels all mounted up and went for a 20 mile ride. Pulls nice, rides nice and smooth. Put em right at 50psi cold. Yokohama Geolander LT215/75-15 on Tredit 15 x 6 rims. Bought the tires at Discount Tire Direct and the Wheels on Ebay. I tried the original lug covers, and although they look nice, they rub against the clearcoat of the wheel and would probably lead to the clearcoat failing, so I'm going to get hubcaps with holes in them so I can see the hubs.

Thanks John. It's about 1 inch nose high, but there's nothing in the front compartment or the bed, and the tanks are dry. I also don't have the load bars on it, which will bring it up again. I'll have to get it down a tad but I'm out of "down" holes on my hitch. It pulled nice but I though I felt it "sailing" just a tiny bit.

The lawn is gonna "pop" this week as soon as the warm weather comes. My favorite time of year! My itty bitty house. We seriously downsized when I retired.

Just wanted to give an update on my tire decision. I have ordered the Maxxis ST225/75/15 Load Range E. I ordered them from Discount Tires since they were willing to price match the lowest price I could find online which was $511 including tax, plus mount/balance.

After verifying with Tredit, the 75psi rating on my white steel spoke wheels and reading the Inflation Chart from Maxxis I feel comfortable with the running the tires at or under 75psi since I will be comfortably under 2600lb max wheel load rating and the 2830lb max tire tire load rating. I will verify the load on each wheel when I figure out an accurate way to accomplish that. For my rig I didn't feel it was worth the extra expense of new wheels and the labor required to fit 16"s in my wheel wells. I think this upgrade from Load D to Load E will give me the extra load "buffer" I was looking for with little extra expense or labor. If my wheels had not been able to handle the additional pressure of the Load Range E tires (which would have required new wheels) then I would have much more seriously considered moving to 16's since there would not have been much more additional expense to do so.

I will also be adding TPMS sensors, metal valve stems and possibly dynabeads.
