1984 T-1550 with TV 300C

I towed my 1984 T-1550 with my 2006 Chrysler 300C a few days ago, the transmission kept downshifting at any giving time, any advice? I'm pretty new at this so I'm not to sure what to do

Do not use over drive put your shifter in 3rd instead of D it's a lot easier on the transmission. Check your manual to see what gear locks out O/D if you don't have a "3" on your shifter.

mainah is right on. I get about 1 mpg beter not using overdrive on a test I did a few years ago. At the higher RPM the engine doesn't pull as hard.
