Well, the video was from the head cam of top fuel dragster Phil Read, not that it wasn't interesting but nary a word about windshields. Think you mighta gotten cross linked there
but will be interested to see what you came across.
Really dislike the film caused by off-gassing. Usually use newspaper or the glass cleaner Touch of Purple (which we bought at the Hershey RV show) to clean on the inside but the out-gas film does seem to return quickly.
We too like to keep our car and truck clean (as well as the Sunline). Presently we're using an all-in-one called Klasse, especially for the F-150 which spends its time outdoors. Not a wax but an acrylic, Klasse gives the finish a shine without looking like a bottle of vegetable oil was spilled on car. We've been impressed with how long it lasts. We'd be interested in hearing what you and others have used which you like.
