Window Frames

Hey there!

Have a 1980 Sunline 13 Foot trailer and looking to re-do the frames around the windows. Does anyone have any suggestions on why type of framing to use? I cannot find the product anywhere.

Thanks in advance!

Redo the wood framing or metal frames? The metal frames are part of the windows.

Ooh, the trim!

All-rite in California is the best place I've found for the trim. It's called Hehr window trim:

You can order it in different colors, Polar White will be super bright white, and may work with your trailer. Colonial will be more of a tan, and would work with mid '80s Sunlines, but would probably look too brown on yours.

I ordered replacements from a local rv repair shop. Three 8 ft sections cost me like $20.

In that case, I would recommend going with colonial trim. But it might not hurt to paint it too, so the UV won't destroy it as quickly.
