Water tank
We have recently purchased a 1982 Sunline camper. I have noticed on the water holding tank a clear hose that comes off the top of the tank next to the filler hose is not attached to anything. Where is this line suppose to go? Where can I get an owners manual for this camper? Thanks, Gregg

Hi Gregg,
Congrats on your new coach and welcome!
That hose should be a vent hose. I believe it connects to a fitting near where the fill tube goes outside. If there isn't something there, just make sure you have the hose up somewhere so that water doesn't go down through it if you fill the tank up full.

Hi Gregg
Welcome to Sunline Owners Club!
Sunline Fan gave you the scoop on the clear hose. It's a vent. If it is just laying loose, it fell off of a screened cover somewhere. On the newer models the vent screen is next to the fresh water tank inlet fill spout. Yours being an 82 may be slightly different but look in that area as a place to start.
On the manual, see this post. It will help direct you on a manual that can at least help.

Happy camping in your new coach!

Your vehicle has the same vent on your gas tank. Without it you'd have difficulty filling your tank(s) with no place for the air to go as it's displaced except along side the filler hose which could be inhibiting.
