Water heater mystery
I've asked this question in the past, but was not having the problem for a while, until we went camping in Ocean City Maryland again. It seems my water heater doesn't like O.C. b/c although the pilot stays lit everywhere else we camp, it goes out constantly in O.C. Is it possible that elevation (O.C. at sea level, other places in the mountains) has an effect?
This past weekend at a campground in Hanover PA, the pilot stayed lit even when I waved a piece of cardboard past the vent on the door thinking that the breeze that is prevalent in O.C. might be blowing out the pilot. So it doesn't seem to be the wind. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Rich
