I'm still working on rebuilding my 1981 12 1/2 MC.
Whoever had it before me welded the frame and replaced the subfloor and, in doing so, removed the aluminum underbelly.
It seems to me to be an important component, protecting the exposed wood from road and weather, but I have no idea what to do, what to use to replace the aluminum that was there. I've read a bunch about repairing the underbelly, but seen nothing about adding one. I've seen references to coroplast, ABS, "underbelly fabric", and, of course, aluminum. And I have no idea how those would be installed. I'm stumped.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction? Keeping in mind that this was a free trailer with a budget as close to zero as possible.
