Toilet replacement?

1994 Sunline 2670

I'm not near the camper, but the original toilet is still in (whitish, yellowish, plastic)

Can it be easily replaced by a Dometic 320…?

Not sure about the dimension differences, wall offset, water piping, etc.

Thanks for any help or ideas. Greg

Good question. That's not a common thing to be replaced here. I believe there's only one type of floor flange, so it should mount if you have the space. I think the water connection fittings are common as well, but I don't know for sure.

Your original toilet is a Thetford Aqua Magic IV. If you want to stick with the same brand, you could also replace it with an AM V for an almost direct replacement, or look into an AM Style II or Aria if you'd prefer a china bowl. There are dimensions on Thetford's website to help you determine what will fit.

The fittings are standard plumbing fittings so I guess you could go with pretty much whatever fits your fancy. I have seen household toilets installed in RV's they are heavy, big and use a lot of water.
