Hi,
As mainah stated, there is no pilot to light on the furnace. It is all automatic. Assuming your furnace is the original from Sunline.
What is supposed to happen is:
When the T stat calls for heat, the fans runs first to purge the combustion chamber.
After a timed period of purging (a minute or so) if the fan is spinning fast enough, a safety switch called a sail switch closes. Then the gas valve will open and the electric ignition will start sparking. If LP gas is flowing, the burner will light and heat will come. This area seems to be where you have the problem.
Is your battery fully charged? and are you plugged into 120 VAC shore power?
The fan motor has to run fast enough to close the safety sail switch. If it is not creating enough wind pressure, then the gas valve and ignition will not start. That is something you can check or let us know.
If the stove burners are working then the LP gas is purged enough the furnace should fire off after 1 or 2 tries.
If the battery is fully charged and the even more so, the camper plugged into shore power, odds are higher the fan is running fast enough. Then is issue starts in the internal controls of the furnace.
If you are electrically friendly with 12 VDC electricity, have a voltmeter or test light and have a working knowledge of LP gas systems, we can help you troubleshoot the furnace. Just ask and tell us the model number of the furnace, the tag is outside behind the grill on the side of the camper. Take pics too and post while have the grill off. They help show us what you are up against.
Is this the first time you have used the furnace since you bought the camper? Trying to back in if you bought like this or it worked for a while and then broke.
Hope this helps
John
