On the faucet. I do not recall if the 2005's had the lever handles or the knobs. I know the 2004's had the 2 knobs and the 2006's had the lever handles.
Odds are high your faucet is either Empire Brass or Phoenix. You will need to sort that out.
Here is a fairly large qty of the Phoenix ones. And they do sell parts kits for some models. But then again the entire faucet may only be $20 pending the model you have

I did replace my bath faucet. The standard home faucets at the lumber yards fit. I now have a mono lever bath faucet. For reasons not yet totally understood, just yet, the hot water faucet gets real hard to work, the shower one too. I take it apart, clean it, it works good for a few days and then hard to open again. It is like the O ring is swelling or something. The cold works fine and I filter all my water. I ended up upgrading the sink faucet so I could steel parts to fix the shower hot water valve stem.
Hope this helps
John
The HW tank, this is going to be a 50/50 shot and maybe more like 30% it may hold. Good luck and let us know how it turns out. We have not yet had a highly successful repair rate. There may be a few, just not that many talked about here on the SOC
