Pam,
I found a few different manuals on your refrigerator. Unfortunately none of them provided detailed information on the max & min temperature settings.
Is this what your refrigerator’s temperature control knob looks like?
If it is, I would guess, based on the dashed lines, that 9:00 would be the coldest setting and 12:00 would be the warmer setting.
Here's what I would suggest as an inital test:
Put a thermometer in your refrigerator.
Run the refergierator on electric.
Set it the knob at 12:00 and leave it for a day (at least overnight),
Record the temp,
Then set the knob at 9:00 leave it for another day
and record the temp.
Then run the refergierator on gas.
And repeat the test.
This way you'll see what the difference is between (which one is) the max and min settings and also what the difference is between running off gas or electric.
Also note that the outside air temperature has an impact on how cool/cold the refrigerator will get. That's why it may be best to record the temperatures in the morning at approximately the same time.
Sorry for not being more helpful.
