I've done it both ways. But then our Sunline was always right next to the house and we occasionally used it during the winter so we always had it on stabilizers.
Now we have to store the new trailer elsewhere, and it just sits on the wheels and landing gear.
FWIW, thousands of TT's sit at dealerships and other storage areas on just the wheels and nose jack or landing gear. In years way past, conventional nylon belted tires would gain a flat spot over the winter, but that is not much of a concern with steel belted radials.
If your trailer is in a seasonal campground and not on blocks, it may be more advantageous to pull up the stabilizers and raise or lower the nose to promote rapid runoff of snow melt since you won't be around to check on it.
