Small electrical problem

When replacing a loose bulb in the bedroom area of my 1980 21RB it was put in the wrong way and now the light socket wont work as well as another light that is probably on the same line. The bulbs tested good and everything else is working both AC and DC. Is there something in the converter that needs to be checked? Is there a reset switch or a fuse? Awaiting a reply with some advice. Thanks

Check all the fuses in the converter box.

There will be DC fuses (like the ones in your auto) and AC brakers (like the ones in your house circuite box).

As a first test make sure all brakers are on and there are no blown fuses. If you find a blown fuse, replace it with the same size fuse and see if the light works.

Fuses

I have recently purchase a 1982 Sunline and replaced the original converter. If it's a fuse they're easy to replace.

I opened the front door by removing a screw at the top of the converter and found four fuses behind the door, one for each DC line running to various parts of the trailer. If you have one of these old converters, mine was under the couch, you may need to simply replace the fuse.

Though my converter was working fine, it had a decided hum, and placed a lot of noise on the AC line so I replaced it.

I know this sounds dorky but if the other lights are working, I would first check to see if the bulb is indeed 12 volt and not 120. I 120 volt bulb would not work as well as the others. If it is indeed a 12 volt bulb, check the watts to make sure they are the same. Higher the watts the brighter the bulb. If rest of the lights are working, I doubt that it would be a converter issue.
