Roof treatment
On my 1985 15 ft Sunline Saturn I have a one f those dimpled aluminum roofs.
I've seen al, kinds of product lines online you-tube etc. and to fix a roof is no big deal but I want to use the proper product. There doesn't seem to be anything advertised for aluminum. All the ads refer to rubber or vinyl roofs
What I would like to do is cover the entire roof with the proper sealant. Basically seal the seams and paint the roof. There are no leaks right now and the previous owner used some sort of silicone which needs to be removed and the proper stuff applied. What type of residue might I be faced with after I remove the old silicone and allow the new stuff to adhere
I'm trying to achieve a "mini" restoration of the trailer so I want to use the proper stuff for the aluminum roof. I know it's "just a roof" but I'm trying to avoid that patch work look.
