Roof Maintenance

Last week we purchased a 1984 15' sunline, and love it! What roof maintenance should we do and what material should we use. There are no leaks, and other than when used, this has been kept under roof. There are a few places where some caulking, that is now hard, has a crack. We do have the original paperwork, but don't see any info on roof maintenance. Thanks for your help!

Hello bcak we also bought a 15' sunline last week. But it is a 1983 and it didnt have any of the paperworks with it. Would there be anyway we could get a copy of your papers on the camper? It would be a great thing to have. I could give you my email or fax number if this would be ok. Thanks Omer Moore

Paperwork

What model number is yours, ours is T1550. I have the original owners manual that is kind of generic, not just specific to our model. It is about 30 pages. Right now I am having some health issues and getting company for the weekend. I will be glad to scan and send that to you if that is what you are looking for. If that is okay, send me your email address and I will get it to you. We purchased the camper from a gentleman from our church who is the original owner and took very good care of it. Everything is in excellant shape, including the upholstery, but I do need to replace the curtains. Do you mind telling me what you paid for yours as ours seemed like a good deal to us, but we really didn't research or compare it to anything. Thanks so much. Cindy

I am new to this site but just noticed if you click on the file tab above their is a link where you can download a manual, they are listed by year. If this isn't what you are looking for, let me know. Cindy

Welcome to the club!
Owner's manuals (at least mine) are a 3-ring binder where all the manuals for the appliances are kept. There is precious little model-specific info in them, just a spec sheet on tankage, length, width, stuff like that. No plumbing or wiring schematics (dagnabbit).
There are folks here with extensive libraries of info and links, so if you ask for something, someone will "appear" and help you.

Enjoy your Sunlines,
Teach

Ours is also a T1550. My email is omer.moore@ky.gov and it sure would be great if you could send me a copy of your manual. We probley paid to much for this little camper as it needs quite a bit of work. But as soon as we seen it we kinda feel in love with it lol. We gave $1500 for it but its what we wanted and gona be our project for both of us to do together and to me thats worth a whole lot more. This is our first camper so we really dont have any idea what we are getting into so we will see. Thanks so much for your help i am so glad i found this site. Omer
