Roof coatings

Hello - The roof on my 2004 2670 is scaly and appears to oxidizing. I asked the dealer I purchased it from (Stolzfus near Reading, PA and they recommended coating with this product - https://proguardcoatings.com/liquid-rubber/

Apparently this product can do a nice job covering the existing roof and should add several years of life to my current EPDM roof.

I attached a picture of a spot on my roof which is approximately 1 inch by 2 inches.

I appreciate any feedback on my roof and my planned roof covering.

Thank you Sunline experts!

John

JohnB is on a distinguished road
Hi John,

I myself have not used that product but I have a good personal friend who just has and reports very good things about the new ProGuard. He did use one of their products a few years ago and it did last correctly. But that have since improved it and he used this
https://proguardcoatings.com/moistur...-rubber-white/

Here is his thread on Proguard giving him help years after he applied their product the first time. This is on anther camping forum and his name is BarneyS. I can speak very highly of him.

And this is the thread where he applied the new 9101 moisture cure Liquid Rubber.

I would suggest you call ProGuard and ask them if you should be using the 9101 moisture cure Liquid Rubber or another number.

Please report back what you find out and ideally create a post on putting the product on your camper and the results. This is a very good topic and we do not have much on it here on the forum.

Hope this helps

John

John, thanks so much for the reply. I read the links you included and it sounds promising. I will take on the job later this summer and I will report back with pictures and feedback.
