Also a little confused on replacement board? Got the following numbers off the control box cover on ceiling inside camper. 3107168.001, 310754.009, ac model# 5791553 been searching online think I might have it replacement board 3106996022 is that correct? Any info appreciated. Thanks

Hi,

On the how to replace the circuit board, it is not that bad if you are electrically friendly. Since you figured out how to jump out the AC and furnace interlock, you done good.

This post may help on the how to replace the board with pics
http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f7...tml#post132118

Now on the part numbers of the new board, I have to dig into the part numbers to help sort this out better. Years back I did buy a new control board. They kept obsoleting the boards along the way and another one replaced it. I'm out of time tonight to help dig deeper but can help later is you still need it.

Your ac part number you said
Quote:
ac model# 5791553
Did you miss a 0 near the end of the part number, like it should be model# 57915503 Please check this and report back. OR is there a 1 at the end of the number like this: 57915531?

The start of the part number shows it is a 13,500 btu unit which would be what Sunline would of put in your camper but the other numbers tell the rest of the story.

PPL Motor homes in Texas may be able to help you. These folks http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/r...oner-parts.htm

Go into the online parts catalog, in the "Choose category" box, that is a pull down, select "Air Conditioners"

Scroll down to "Dometic - Brisk Air Model"

Scroll down to your model number. I can only find the 7915503 part number or 57915531. If you go in there, they show this

Quote:
If you don't find the item your looking for please call 1-800-755-4775
That most likely will be a place called RV Dealership who is the supplier of these parts. That company will give PPL credit for the sale, but they will ship the parts to you. http://www.rvdealership.com/rvdstore...rNumber=885555 Go under "Questions/Polices" pull down and it explains it some. They are based out of Elkhart, IN

I have used them before and had good service. You may just need to call them and find out what the latest PC board for you model is. Let me know how you make out. I can help dig some more if needed.

Hope this helps

John

Hello John

Thanks for your reply.

Yes I for got the 1 at end of model# 57915531 is correct.

Went PPL motor home parts website and was referred to the 800 number circuit board not listed as far as I can see. Called 800 was told not listed.

Rv adventure net site came up when I googled correct mod# and circuit board. CB mod# 3106996.022 $51 pulse shipping. For AC model# 579 "series"

With small cover removed I can't seem to see how cb is "attached" to housing ?

John

Hi John,

Yes, I too ran into some places that wanted to sell me the entire analog box before. After enough hunting I found just the circuit board listed.

It seems you have found the latest replacement board with the PN 3106996.022. See my pic of the last board I bought about back in 2010. This may have been made here in the US, don't really know. You can read the part number right off of it. If your AC unit does not have a heating strip option, most don't, then I feel this is the right board.

This pic seems to be the ones for sale now. This is off the Dryers web site and it seems to be made by a different manufacture.

I have not bought from AdventureRV.net so I cannot speak to them. Dometic Duotherm Analog Relay Board - $51.10 They may be good, I do not know.

I have bought from these 3 folks below as an option and had a good experience with them. The prices are of all over on this, and watch what they do with freight. Some may be better then others. Pick which your feel best with or others out there.

Dryers, They have a really good pic you can zoom in on that I linked above. Dometic A/C Relay Analog Control Board - Circuit Boards - RV Appliances

Tweety's. A good place to buy from but they are high on this part. Dometic 3106996.022 Duo Therm Ac Board Relay

American RV. The lowest cost but they have done good service for me. They are in California so it may take a week to ship. Dometic 3106996.022 Heat and Cool Relay Analog Control Board Kit Camper Trailer RV

To replace the board, I had to remove the entire analog control box from the ceiling like this

Then take the large top cover off. There are plastic push pins that hold the PC board to the metal housing. Look at the 4 corners of the board.

You can see here it hanging down. I was using a jumper on the compressor wiring but you do not have to do that.

Hope this helps and let us know how this comes out.

John

I now see the push pins. That dryers price does look good. Il let you know what I ended up doing. Not in a big hurry to fix it @ this time of the season. Although it's going to be warm for the next several days. Keep you posted. John
