Replacement axle/hub assembly Saturn 17

I have a 1988 sunline Saturn and the hub is worn out that holds the bearings. I want to buy a whole new axle with hubs assembly but have no idea how to find one since sunline is no longer. I’m thinking I should be able to find an aftermarket axle/hub assembly??thanks for your help

A good RV or trailer outfit should be able to help you. Sunline didn't make them, Dexter is one of the biggest but there are a few others. It probably is a 3500# axle.

Thank you I will check it out. I plan on buying it and doing it myself. I will have to find out the specs on the axle from sunline somehow

There are some very knowledgeable Sunline people here I sure one will chime in and tell just what you have for an axle. Mine is a 1700 also but its a couple years newer and has 2 axles.

Hi Roycer,

See this post on another member almost in the same situation you are on his 88 camper, just a different model. He had no axles at all to start with, you seem to at least have the old axle to go with as a guide and to measure off of.

Read this over as my response may get you started. After reading, ask away here in your post to get clarifications etc. We are glad to help.

Hope this helps

John

In a similar situation I used E-trailer.com to supply the parts for my axles and bearings, and brakes. They have everything and are very knowledgeable. They offer fast delivery (at least before corvid) and even have videos showing you how to fix it. Prices were very good also. A very impressive company! Check them out.
