First off, Welcome and congrats on your new camper!

Not sure which model year camper you have or if the compartment lock sets have been changed along the way, but many of the compartment keys use CH 751 which is common to many campers compartment doors across the RV industry. I'm just not sure what year all this started. I know any of the year 2000's and newer are that way, maybe even the 90's, I'm just not sure about Sunlines from the 70's or 80's.

Sometimes they stamp the key cylinder on the outside exposed metal with the key number, but not always. You could look at all of your doors and see if it shows up.

You can buy CH 751 lots of places, just about any RV dealer has them. Or any place that sells RV parts. Amazon and others have them.

Tell us your model year and maybe another club member with an older camper can tell if CH751 is on their camper and what year they have.

Hope this helps

John

Here is a set of 2 for $4.51 from Amazon and sold by Amazon.

Check around, the keys prices are all over the map. The link above was the cheapest I found looking quickly.

Actually a good hardware store may even have them. That keys fits a lot of other things too other then campers.

I have gone to a locksmith with a pickup truck tool box that I didn't have a key for. He was able to take the number off the lock and cut me one. They should be able to do the same for you.

All of the ones on mine now have no keys they are just knobs my theory being if you really want in just stick a screw drive in the key slot and turn the entire lock! I did just that to remove the old locks (with no key) to fit the new ones not exactly what I would call secure locks.

FYI - a lot of pre-fab shed doors also use a CH751key.
