Refrigerator roof vent caulk?

Going to replace old cracked refrigerator roof vent base (and cover). Is the self leveling Dicor caulk OK or something else due to heat coming out of vent?

Dicor should be fine. You really don't get any more heat out of that vent than the roof already gets on a nice sunny day in midsummer.

Make sure you apply the butyl tape between the roof and the vent.

It's pretty straight forward remove the old caulking around the screws, take the screws out, carefully remove the old part and clean clean clean. Then just put the new butyl tape on the bottom of the new part, line up the screw holes. You get the point by now
