Radio / Blu-Ray Player

Has anyone found a decent priced radio/ Blu-Ray player for the RV

The price seems to jump insanely between DVD and Blu-Ray.

Dvd

Why bother with BluRay when the DVDs works just fine. I purchased a nice JVC 24" tv with DVD player built in. Works just great for rainy day movie watching.

I like buying separate equipment when possible. That way when one part goes bad I simply replace that part instead of two. I'd look for a radio with external inputs for a player. Then I could buy the cheaper Blu-Ray and radio.

If nothing else there may a way to transfer Blu-Ray to DVD/CD format.

Well Sony lost on the bata tape stuff so they made their lasers blue so every other DVD player made would not work with the blue ray. The slots in the disk are smaller so a red laser won't read them your stuck with having to buy a blue ray player. Most flat screen TV's have video and audio inputs so a player would be your best way out.
