Parts f1990 Sunline T-263 StarRay 27 foot camper
I just purchased a 1990 Sunline T-263 StarRay 27 foot camper
Does anyone have this model and have pictures of the inside
I purchased the camper last month and it is in pretty bad (cosmetic) shape
I would love to see what it should look like for some ideas.I am looking for the original door stops.Looking for the frontand back and 2 side StarRay decals for a start. If someone has used or new parts please let me know.
Any information for this would be greatly appreciated
Rick

Hi Rick,
I do not have your model and do not know what it looks like inside however I might be able to help on some of the parts if we know what it is what you have.
Any chance of a pic of the door stops? Do you mean the ones outside to hold the door open?
Hope this helps
John

Hi Rick,
Can't help you with the decals, you'd have to have a local graphic/sign shop recreate them. Those decals hadn't been available at Sunline since the mid '90s or so.
You could get new foam for the cushions if needed, or make new covers. I would be shocked if you could find matching fabric, so you'll probably have to change it.
Here are the parts for the door holdbacks.
The post (see below for receiving socket):
Door Holdback- Stainless 3
The receiving cup/socket (sold separately here):
Door Holdback- Nylon Socket

Hi Rick, SunlineFan found you the door stops on line and for us too We had not had a easy order source for them yet. I found them at a RV salvage place but it is hard to order exactly what we want verse seeing it in person in Elkhart IN.
The pic's. See this thread. http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f63/how-to-post-a-picture-on-sunlineclub-7650.html
That thread was started back in 2007 and then later updated towards the end or it for the newer forum features. There are 2 basic options to get a pic up on Sunline Club.
If you have your pic on a web photo server, then you just link them to our site and they view them over here using the img codes. The postage stamp icon in your message window helps set this up. Just keep the size down to 640 pixels wide and the size ideally down around 50K. Photobucket.com offers a free picture hosting account. I have one and so do many others.
OR you can upload off your PC right to the site and the pic is stored here. This is a somewhat new feature when the last version of forum software came on line.
If you need help, let us know.
Good luck with your camper
John

I googled to find those folding ones at first, because I figured he could at least make those work. Found that place had the sockets, so I searched around to see if they had the whole thing, and sure enough there's the exact part!

parts eventually need
Thanks everyone for all the help!!!
I purchased the 606SS 2 door holdback and nylon socket online.
Whats nice is they are the exact match.
As for the Decals. Has anyone painted over the old decals with the same color ? Does anyone know if there is any companies that sell the outside covers for the waterheater.heater, refrigerator and cover for the storage area?
I am trying to fix this camper right.
I am going to have to eventually replace the refrigerator, hot water heater, heater and invertor..If anyone knows good vendors for new or used appliances that I can use please foward me the names
Thanks again
Rick

Hi Rick,
People have painted the decals before, but not before removing first. The old stuff will just peel/crack and painting over it would come out awful. It's a tedious job to pull the old stuff off piece by piece with a heat gun, but it's the right way to do it.
You can definitely get water heater doors from your local RV dealer or online sites like etrailer.com or Adventure RV Parts. Used RV parts are basically unheard of, and you'll spend more time and probably money to find what you need, so save that for the hard to find parts. You might be able to get a furnace door too, I'm not sure. You can definitely remove your old ones, sand them down, and repaint them accordingly. New ones you get will be bright polar white and will stand out like a sore thumb on your gray siding.
