Does any one have a paint # or source for paint? I need the flat finish paint nothing I have found is a match. It's the sort of creamy white on the upper sections.

Sunline used a Krystal Kote finish. Even if you get a color match I doubt you will get a texture match. JMO

Yes it is a rough flat finish I have primed it and it seems to remain. This thing had decals all over it including the Sunline ones all of them were junk the Good Sam ones had a metallic backing that actually had to be sanded off. This thing will never win best of show I'm just trying to make it a little presentable among other things repair and fill the holes through the side where 2 1/2" screws were driven through a 1 1/2 wall". Ain't it fun fixing old stuff!

That's what I thought, so you have just a painted gray aluminum. Since it wasn't coated, it will have faded some over the years. Your best bet would be to match some paint color samples from a store and then go looking for a paint to match it.

How well does your hatch doors match your finish. Or if you can get a piece of siding off. An auto motive paint store can color match and put it in spray cans.

The hatches don't match at all. The fridge door does but it's riveted on! After using white primer it is more of a light gray. A rattle can would require a case the entire front and rear sections need to be painted took 2 quirts of primer to cover them. I have been bringing back white off white samples I'm going looking for light gray stuff next. I have redone the roof and I have no ideal what color it was but it's now white there was a leak but it did not have any thing to do with the roof proper it's aluminum and they thought roof tar was a good fix all along the edge where it's folded over don't know why they thought it might leak there. That was a treat to get off. You know I can afford a new trailer but there is nothing out there that has the room and quality of an old Sunline. Pictures when I get closer to presentable.

Yeah every thing works I have made it a boondock special all LED's etc.etc. solar panel it's comfortable for two people and fairly light easy tow with my Tacoma so who cares about a little paint.

If you swing the refrigerator access door all the way up/open and then try to pull on one side, it won't slide out?

Nope it's flush fit the hinge is rivited to the frame that would be way too easy. I have looked all over there is nothing I can remove with out a lot of effort.

If you are on good terms with a paint shop, they may have a Pantone book. It will have little color chips (paper) with a pantone #. They may let you borrow it.

Once you have a match, that Pantone # can allow you to have a color mixed by anyone using that system.

Pantone was the design industry standard for years. We use it to mix colors for our cliental.

Oh, older print shops also. Pantone is a ink on paper and all the inks were matched with this system.

Yup. I thought of that also. Scannig is the thing these days, except I was going to mention driving to an auto body shop.

There are portable units. I'm not sure the box store use them though.

Well I think I'm going to take a picture with my digital SLR camera enlarge and print it and go looking for close paint chips. They do have some pretty big doors at HD but they usually have some kind of display to keep people like me from just driving in with the camper in tow.

Yeah I tried the body shop deal but out here in the willy wags they are pretty dark and dusty most often used for painting old trucks about the most modern thing they have is a window fan. There is a NAPA store that sells paint (to mostly the truck painters) that is a fairly modern affaire and only 10 miles away they might actually have a scanner.

Be sure to check your printout closely to the paint. The printer color may be several stops off from your camera color.

When I worked for a design company some years back the owner was upset when the printer didn't produce correct color for some Christmas cards he was doing. He went and purchased a pantone color correct printer for several thousands of dollars.

Funny, he didn't care so much about accurate color for the employees and/or clients until he wanted it for personal use.
