outdoor light bulb replacement ?

Having converted all my interior lites to LED, I'd like to do the same w/ the exterior lights
Have tried repeatedly w/o success to remove the cover to expose the bulbs. Have squeezed them in every direction & tried gently prying w/ a screwdriver but remain unable to remove them. Afraid additional pressure will just break the plastic
Would sure appreciate any advice
thanx

Looking at your amber side light peek at the bottom of the lens cover, between the cover and the housing. Along that joint you will see one tab on the lens going into a slot on the fixture, in the middle. Squeeze at the tab until the lens comes out. Easy does it but if you do break one it can be replaced without having to buy the entire fixture.

Edited to add: I looked at your pictures folders and you might have different lights than I have. In that case you could still look around the edges to find locking tabs. Choose a side that has one tab and press that one in.

I was once told, it is best to do when the temp is warmer, as it softens the plastic some, so it is less brittle.

Hi Glen,

This should help and match your year camper, complete with pics. Scroll down to where I posted the pics. They are really on there but need to be to not fly off towing down the road.

I put an LED on the yellow one a year of so ago. I need to get some more for the other outside lights. Inside all converted now.

Good luck

John
