No wood under rubber roof..
Well.. my anxiety goes to a new level today. I am still working on cleaning and re-caulking my camper roof, and realized that a lot of the wood under the rubber feels like it is just gone??? The back passenger side of the trailer where the rail goes around is not attached to anything but the rubber.. I really blew it on this purchase.. I will try to post some pics and vids of my finds..

My current sunline roof is nothing like my previous campers and this is apparently typical of the brand.
These are not walk on roofs and have a different feel than plywood...
Pictures are worth a 1000 words and will help the more knowledgeable people here figure if you have a problem

Sorry, Guys.. I'm doing something wrong. I would like to be able to show the vid, because the pics don't show how much give there is in the roof. I did find some great info here about the same thing I have going on.. My big thing is I have to pay to have it fixed or try to hire someone to help me. I think maybe its time to put this back on the market and hope to get some of my money back out of it. I have learned so much about what to look for when buying a camper from this site I know could make a lot netter choices next time..

H'mm, your video is not coming through. Would really like to see it so we can help better.
If this is a U tube video, just "copy" the URL into your scrape buffer and "paste" it in your post and it should view. No need to attach it.
This may work for other kinds of video too. I have only linked U tube videos before
I also responded on the wood feel thing in the other post tonight. Sorry I did not see this one here. http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f7...tml#post143380
Hope this helps
John

The videos are showing up here, but they won't really stream for me. The first four seconds were painful.

I get a message that says please upload video in the video field.. I have no idea what the url is? I think thats if it is on the net some place?? It really sucks because I can't figure out why they would have put a rood rack on this unit, unless someone added it later and maybe thats were a lot of the problems are coming from??

Well... it seems there is a problem. I just tried this from a short video clip from my Iphone over the weekend. See here http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f1...tml#post143414
I tried 2 ways and both did not work. The first one looks like yours and does not work.
I will ask our Admin on what we are doing wrong and report back.
Thanks
John

Top pic is the back wall, next one is sideways.. front corner I fixed up, third is just a front to rear shot of the roof, the discoloring down the edge is from be scrubbing it, waiting for it to dry so i can do some self leveling caulking down the edge. 4th is the wet floor in the hauler part.. I think maybe.. the flip out vent was leaking??? It was deffently not sealed.. but then again.. the roof seal pic where I can poke my finger down is also on the corner..

Your videos played somewhat for me, sound the whole time then video came in and out
Where you were pushing by the wall in 1st video needs to be sealed up asap, the dicor shouldn't seperate like that and water is getting in. (Like last pic above)
The front wall seam looks recently sealed with tape and dicor, was that you or previous owner?
The play button went away after watching, so couldn't watch again.
