Need recommendations on new power converter for 19.5 Sunline 2002

The trailer is getting older, and I ran into some burning smell issues last time I used the trailer in cold weather with an electric heater. It has been stored for about the last year and I am going to start using it again.

I want to get a new power converter. What would be your recommendation? The one I have now runs a cooling fan 24/7. Are there any units that don't have a 24/7 fan?

Thank you for any information you can give.

Hi,

What make and model converter do you have now? This will help on how to do the conversion.

This thread may help. http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f7...ter-15944.html

And this one
http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f6...rade-8888.html

The converter I would recommend is a Progressive Dynamics brand. These folks RV and Motorhome Power Converters from Progressive

And I bought mine from these folks. Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power Converters

But, we need to know what you have first to help guide you better which Progressive Dynamics converter to get.

And yes, the fans on the new ones do not run much. I never hear my new one running, ever. The old one, when it ran it was like a cement mixer...

Hope this helps

John
