need help...

Trying to help my friend winterize her new to her Sunny..'96 2100..this is a different setup and hard to access..suggestions please. Her WH is in the rear corner under her bed and water tank up front under her sink. Anyone familiar with this setup please tell me the easiest way to bypass the WH. I thought disconnecting the two Blue hoses and connect to each other..doesnt seem to be a valve on the upper one. There are two valves coming off the pump to those hoses ( pictured). Thanks Janalee

j52wf is an unknown quantity at this point
If I am not mistaken, turnig the bottom valve is all that is neede to bypass the WH. Cold water enters on the bottom. My old Sunny had two valves on WH, with WH and city inlet on one side and FW tank on other side. My new Sunny only has valve on bottom, with WH in rear corner and FW and city inlet on same side. If I am wrong, someone on this forum will know for sure.

From what I see in the pictures, the water heater bypass is the 1 valve version, the hot water out at top has a the same feature as city water inlet has. It stops water from entering water heater. The picture with the 2 valves look like low point drain valves. Check if they have line going through floor.

Yes..those two are the low point drains..what is confusing me is the white hose connecting the two blue ones on the WH....and the fact that on a trailer this old, they have a 'one valve' bypass..So why the white hose anyway?

From the picture it looks like the kit you can buy in any rv store and install yourself. They have the white hose.

The shutoff is "frozen"....won't budge! And whoever designed this access hole of 5" round should be shot! Never had such a set up..anyway,since she never uses her HWH anyway, we are cutting a larger access, disconnecting both hoses from the tank and connecting them to each other...this will then be a permanent bypass of sorts. The valves only turn one way and only 90* It would be easier to get the valves to turn and just leave them that way if they have no use for hot water.
