looking for guidance to replace my lost "door" key for my (2002) Sunline 2975.
Owners manual states key number 312, but no manufacture.
Any info appreciated.
Thanks

Hmm, a 2002, I'm not 100% positive of the manufacturer of the lockset. Do you have another key? It would show a name molded on there that would state it.
However, I think I'm safe to assume it's a Tri-Mark lockset. You will just need to call them with that key number and they should be able to get you one (or more).

Any RV dealer would also be able to cut one, just from the number.

Thanks for your response.
I called trimark and then went out to the camper and there was FAST ???, can't relly remember, on the handle inside.
Trimark told me its a Fastec lock they think.
Have to out and get the nimber stamber on the outside handle lock and then I guess contact Fastec.
EMD Driver I'l call the dealer with the correct number and see, that probably would be better than getting it thru mail.
Have to dig a little deeper to see if I can find the key !!!

After spending part of the afternoon looking both in the camper and in the house. Low and behold I found the key.
Now the question is where is the extra key ??
Think I'l just get a few extras, no more looking.
Thanks all for you help.

Yes, Fastec would be the other company. Now that you found a key, just look at the small number on the key part itself (not the black plastic) and you should be able to order the key you need from that number directly from Fastec. I've dealt with them in the past too and they are good to work with.
Your local dealer very likely has Fastec key blanks, but then you have to get someone to cut it, which since it's double sided, there's a good chance it may not work. I've had that happen before on cut keys. When you buy it directly from Fastec, they send it to you already cut and ready to go, not to mention a blank at a dealer will be like $2.95 or more, and then you'd have to get it cut.

Cutting trailer keys, this is becoming a lost art. All the new big box stores have a cartridge machine that fits premade blanks and trailer keys are not in that premade cartridge group.
I have been carrying around 2 extra sets of key blanks now for 3 years until last summer the Ace hardware store in Old Forge NY still had one of the older key cutting machines. I now have spares in the truck for the camper
Once we here locked out of the Suburban with the camper on a mountain top on Friday night.... All the spare keys inside, wallet, cell phone everything.... So much for getting to camp early that night. Thank goodness for On Star. Once I hoofed it down the mountain a mile to the ranger station and called they popped the locks remotely. Ranger said, no worries I can get in in less then 30 seconds. I do at least 3 to 4 vehicles a week....
So now that we have the Ford with the push button lock on the door, I still want extra camper keys and a truck key. Nothing like loosing the TT key on a campout and having to almost break in to your own camper...
