Mission tires

I haven't heard much good about these tires but haven't had a problem for just under 5000 miles myself until this past weekend. Traveling on the New York State Thruway one completely came apart. It looked like each ply separated and there wasn't much left. I think there was more tire parts stuck to the wheel well than there was left on the wheel. I put the spare on and Adirondack Tire had one for me. I can't think of a good reason not to swap out the other three based on other stories.

What are the dates on the tires ? If they are the orig. tires on your 2006 TT they have to be over 5 yrs. old. Yes time to swap them out..

I have Mission tires on my 2007 Que they were made Dec.2005, so will be 5 yrs. old soon. I will be replacing them before my next trip, which will be in 2011.
I had good luck with them over 18,000 miles No flats or even any loss of air, (except for the small normal loss from sitting for sometimes 10 months)

Yup, they're 5 years old. It's time. I did have another go flat last year in the driveway but they didn't find a problem.
