The fit is pretty tight width-wise, so there's not much room for a wider battery, but as far as length goes, can I fit two Group 27s?.
Any help is appreciated.

I'll measure my 2004 T2499 for you on Tuesday. I do know that mine has group 24 batteries and they about fall thru the small angle iron rails. Not literally but it's close. I had to add a board to span the gap better.
Here you can see the gray board under the battery and the extra room on the side of the case
Now will a grp 27 fit? Well "maybe" have to check. I just put 2 group 27's on the T310SR this year I can measure those boxes to see if they will fit.
Mr Tweety just put 2 group 29s on his 2006 camper with the new frame style but I do not know what he did with the battery rack. My T310SR the batteries are turned 90 degrees and I had to fiddle with the mount to go from 24's to 27's.
Be back on Tuesday
John
