This is the grab handle light by the door, right?

If I recall, the piece was just a simple thin piece of milky white plastic, maybe 50% transparent. I don't remember being able to see a shadow of the bulb, maybe in a certain really bright direct sun. Mine was so yellowed though that I couldn't say what it would look like new.

Hi Kitty,

That probably isn't the same one, but it is similar. I don't think the lens would work, but I'd bet the whole fixture could be purchased and used as a replacement.

Here's what mine looked like. The only difference with Ted's is his should be chrome, not painted brown:

Mine looks much like that but it is chrome, the sides are parallel (they look curved in your photo but that might be the photo) and the lens had to have had 2 tabs at the top and was secured by one screw directly above the handle.

All that being said I guess-timate (by measuring) that the rough in hole is 4" by 8" so that one linked might fit....
