Kitchen faucet replacement help

Hello all.....I have a 1989 Sunline T-2480. I need to replace the kitchen faucet and I am unable to unscrew the hot/cold water fittings because they are extremely tight. Must I remove the kitchen sink to gain reasonable access to the fittings? Also, what recommendations does anyone have concerning a replacement faucet? Thanks in advance!

I use one of these 2 tools. I prefer the second for sinks.

3/8 in. x 1-1/4 in. Basin Nut Wrench-70236 - The Home Depot

RIDGID Faucet and Sink Installer Tool-27018 - The Home Depot

Yes a basin wrench will do it and they should come off fairly easy being plastic. All of the plumbing stuff in a camper is standard plumbing sizes so you can find fixtures at a big box store. The clue is the centers you kitchen will be either a 4" or an 8" depending on the size of the fixture and the fittings will be 1/2" bull nose.
