Joist size of a 2002 T2753

I have water in the back floor of my 2002 T2753.
Right under the water heater.
I will repair this at the camp site with limited supply, so I need to bring everything I might need.
Anyone know the size of the joist in the floor?
The OSB on the floor looks like 1/2 in. Although 1/2 in. OSB is often only 7/16 thick. I will need to replace a portion of the OSB (along the right side of the bed). Would plywood be better?
Is there an easy way to remove the storage cabinet which is over the water heater. These looks like screwed from inside the wall.
Any information / advice is welcome
Thank you

I do not know if yours are 2 x 4 or 2 x 3 layed flat.

This might help. This is a 97 T2653 floor overhaul by EMD_Driver. He did a great job.

http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f7...avy-14275.html

To the OSB, Sunline may have had OSB made for them or got it on the industrial market. Many times the floor was all one sheet, no joints.

I have 1/2" (yes a full 1/2" as 2 of then create a full 1") in my slide floor. Point is, Sunline was able to get real 1/2" not the reduced size we see in the lumber yards.

That said, I do not know what your floor is, 1/2", 5/8 or 3/4" just stating that the nominal size can be actual.

I myself would replace the flooring with exterior glue plywood. It's a personal choice, both will work.

Hope this helps

John

Thank you John, I will purchase 1/2" exterior plywood.
As for the joist, I will bring a small bench saw in case I need to resaw.
I will jump into this as soon as weather allows.

For the record:
Joist are mainly 2 x 3 laid flat (actual size 1.5 x 2.5) there is a 2 x 2 along the outside wall.
The floor is OSB 5/8" not 1/2". The floor does not go under the wall (which is good for repair).
Walls are 2x2 (1.5x1.5" actual size)

Here are a before (left side of bed) and after (right side)
