The normal answer is that your drain for whatever sink won't run is simply plugged, usually at the trap. It's a simple matter to drop the trap and clean it out, being sure to have something to catch the water underneath the trap before you unhook it. But, what you are describing isn't a plugged trap or drain.

First, are you sure the grey tank is empty or partially empty? If it's full, it won't drain.

How many gray and black tanks does your rig have and what drains into what? On my Cougar, one grey tank gets shower and bathroom sink and the other grey tanks gets just the kitchen sink.

If your grey is getting into the black tank, how is that happening? On most rigs, only the toilet and maybe the bathroom sink go into the black tank.

I think we need a more accurate and complete description of the problem and your rig to get you pointed in the right direction.

Also, we'd need to know if there have been any aftermarket mods to the drain system. Some folks install a transfer system so they can move grey water to the black tank
