Fuse size for Audiovox AWM930 stero/cd player

Does anyone know the correct fuse for these radios? i just bought this travel trailer and the radio is not working. I looked at the fuse and it had a small 8 amp/125 v in it that was blown. Wondering if this is the correct size before i buy new ones?

Also, i read through the owners manual online and it said nothing..

Thanks

Fuse amperage

Hi,

I installed a Jensen in our 2363 and the fuses that came installed kept blowing. Called tech support and they told me to use a 5amp instead of the 3amp that came with the unit. I would go with a 5amp first. Is there two fused lines on the wiring harness? Mine did, one was for the memory functions and the other for the power. Memory fuse actually had to be the 5amp and the power fuse ended up being a 3amp. Hope this helps.

I just looked at my Audiovox awm930 and it has an 8 amp fuse. I had forgotten that it was physicaly smaller than the normal 3AG size fuses. Pulling that fuse also killed the memory and clock. There is another little box thing behind the radio and I don't know if that has a fuse Since the fuse points straight up I had to use a sticky piece of duct tape to lift it out.
