Furnace

I'm new to owning a camper. We bought a 93 sunline camper a few months ago. I got no books or anything with it. I'm wondering how the furnace works? Do I need to light a pilot light? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome. No you do not have to light a pilot light. Just turn on you LP tanks, fire up your stove top burners for a few seconds to get flowing through system then set the thermostat at the temp you want. I do not know what t-stat you have but there might be a switch on the top or bottom back that shows on or off.

It will blow cold air for awhile but if all is well you'll hear a click and the heat will come on.

Also when the burner shuts off the fan will run for a little. The tip about firing up your burners is good to do if your trailer has not been used for awhile before turning on the fridge or water heater.
