Front window leak

I have a 1987 T2251 that when I tow in the rain, the crank out window in the front always lets water in. I assume this is a common problem. I've been trying to think of a way to seal around the bottom of the stone guard with some kind of automotive weatherstripping so the water can't force itself up and in the window. Anybody else encountered this and find a solution that works?
