Floor replacement Que 5.4RE
Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum and posting things, so please be patient with me. I have a 2007 Sunline Que 5.4RE (never used), but sat in a driveway and sustained water damage to the floor. Seems water got in through the front side compartments. I was able to remove most floor cabinets, electrical stuff and lines and most of the rotted floor back to the rear shower and refrigerator. I am at a lost how to remove the rest and then replace the floor. I can't seem to find enough information or YouTube videos to figure this out or anyone who does such repairs. If anyone could direct me, I would really appreciate it. It was my father in law's trailer and didn't get it done before he passed on 12/3/19. Thanks, Scooter

Hi Scooter,
We can try and help,
First, here are some posts of folks working on Que water leaks.
This one by IAMbucket was a really good post with a lot of detail on how water made it into his camper. http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f7...tml#post136662
All the text is there, but sadly the pics are not showing they may have been removed by the photohosting site he used. The text may help.
This post by member paulo who has video of their Que replacing his floor. http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f6...que-16765.html There may be an issue getting the vidoes to load. But he did say to search Utube under his wording and I found them for you. See the 1st 4 here on U tube

If you want more help, we are glad to try and help but we need pictures of what we are seeing to go along with your questions. We have many member who have water water damage repair, just maybe not on a Que as there was only so many of them sold. Post pictures and we will see what we can help with. If you need help on how to post pics, see here. http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f1...html#post86041
Or here to setup a personal photo album here on the our forum http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f1...html#post87945
Hope this helps
John

JohnB,
Thank you so much. I did view videos by Paulo to see what he did on his 2007 Sunline Que floor repairs/replacement and will reach out to him. I need to figure out how to get the rest of the old floor out under the rear shower, as some of it sits over the black tank. I have many pictures of stages of disassembling so I don't forget how it goes back. I will post them in an album, but not sure if it should be private or public to contacts and mediators. I assume public means any Sunline member and that's fantastic. Any help they can offer is greatly appreciated. Scooter

Hi scooter,
Make the album "public". All Sunline club members can then see it. Also to note, the pics are then also open to the web as well, so do not post anything that is secure to you.
Hope this helps
John

sunlike shower
there is no avoiding it. You will have to remove the shower.
I had a leak at the extreme back corner of the roof that let water trickle down under the shower. I pulled the shower loose (it's only held on with causing, then pulled up the shower floor. All the insulation was soaked, up into the walls. I had to remove the aluminum siding along the bottom of the back and side of the trailer. I kept removing flooring until I could attach new green lumber to wood that was not rotted. Luckily, the shower and shower floor is just held in with caulking, so you just need to get some quick setting caulking to reinstall the shower. If the floor is rotted, chances are the rot has spread to the walls, so you will have to check that out
