Hi medic828,

First off, welcome to Sunline Owners Club! Glad you found us and congrats on your Sunny.

While we may not have someone with your exact camper and your exact floor rot issue, we have many here who have repaired water damage.

Do you have wood working tools? Most all things on the camper made from wood can be fixed with common wood tools.

The soft spot means water made it's way into the floor somehow. Since it is by the door, it may have been a bad door seal that allowed water to leak in and infect the floor. Or it may have came in from other locations.

This post can help on how to scan the floor, walls, ceiling etc to measure how far the damage has gone by using a moisture meter. It can help tell if there is any water infection above the floor, like the water came down the wall from a roof leak. http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f7...per-17613.html

Restoring a Sunline
1. Repairing water damage on your Sunline.

See some of those links from club members who have repaired a bad floor along with some pics. These can help show you what may be involved. Their repair may be more advanced with rot then your's but it shows what they had to do.

We have a few active posts going on now from members with water damage repair. Here are some of them.

This should get you started. If you need help, ask away. We are glad to help as we can. When you get to the repair, posting pictures also goes a long way in helping show us see what you are up against so we can help better. And the pics help others, like you in the future searching for info to help them fix up their camper.

Hope this helps

John
