Yeah I've replaced all my interior and all but one if the exterior bulbs with LED . I missed the one on the backside up high above the water and electric access doors! Had no idea it was there until the next to last time I parked it in storage!
Also changed the brake/signal bulbs one caveat there is to make sure you use error free LED'S or you might have trouble with turn signals. LED'S use so little power the flasher can get confused and think the bulb is not working! Very fast flash instead if normal speed.

Yes the trick with the flashes is to replace the TV flasher unit with a solid state one. The older ones had a heating element that needed the resistance of the bulbs to heat the element inside the flasher. A 1156 light bulb draws 2.2amps that's one bulb so you can see why the wiring for the lights is a #12!

WOW...For sure!! The new LED's are far less!
The T10 wedge style that fit all my lights is 10 Ma @ 12V DC
A huge reduction in draw!
Is that correct? Down to 10 milliamps (0.01 amps) from 0.20 amps?
So all 20 bulbs at the same time draw less than one old bulb?

I knew it was a considerable reduction in draw but I didn't realize it was that substantial!
John has commented that it helps him when boondocking and I play to do some of that and need power to operate my CPAP all night.
And it's far less heat in the summer!

Did you have a typo there? The old 921 incandescents drew 1.4 amps each (18 watts).

Where was the 0.20 amps from?

I found it on a website for auto bulbs...and I was looking for T10 not 921 which fits the same but is apparently a different bulb?
That would be an even greater improvement!

More like 0.7% of the power draw?

I have no brake lights and no turn signal lights. When I try either left or right turn signal all the running lights blink simultaneously. [/QUOTE]

That sounds like a ground issue. Check the white wire and make sure its grounded to the frame.
