The older ones had a heating element that needed the resistance of the bulbs to heat the element inside the flasher. A 1156 light bulb draws 2.2amps that's one bulb so you can see why the wiring for the lights is a #12!

The T10 wedge style that fit all my lights is 10 Ma @ 12V DC
A huge reduction in draw!
Is that correct? Down to 10 milliamps (0.01 amps) from 0.20 amps?
So all 20 bulbs at the same time draw less than one old bulb?
