Dometic RM2300 Door Gasket

Hey all - Apologies if this topic has been brought up before.


Wondering if any of you have replaced the magnetic gasket on the fridge door? The one in my 87 T1550 seems to have shrunk with age. (I've heard that happens when you get old )



I'm able to find a replacement gasket online, but I don't know how much i trust the sources. Do you think an old Mom and Pop repair shop would be much help here? Or do you know if I could use a "universal" gasket?


I'd hate to have to replace her because she still works like a charm. I duct taped it shut and the temp still gets down to the mid 30's.


Any input or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Good morning Sunsaturn87,

Have you tried looking at the parts for the replacement models. They are the exact same dimensions as the RM2300. The replacements were the RM2351 and RM2354.

Thanks! When I googled gaskets for RM2351 it directed me to an ebay store for this RV shop in MI. Contacted them and sure enough, they had the gasket set for the RM2300!
