Dometic 2552 fridge element

Hi all! I am in need of a heating element for my Dometic 2552 fridge. It is a 120v 210w element. Have been searching for months. No replacements available. Anybody have a source or optional solution? I considered trying a readily available 325watt element but I am concerned about the safe usability with the difference in wattage. Someone said it can split the tube but I wonder how possible that is when a flame from the propane function could be just as hot, if not hotter? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi! I was curious about your problem and did some research and found a outfit in Alberta Canada who has used ones on hand and ship to the US. They are youngfartsRVparts. I just typed in Dometic rm 2552 parts and they came up. The parts are used but tested good. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I have come across that source in searching. Wasn't crazy about the reliability of a used element. I have tested my element and it comes up good within parameters but it doesn't seem to keep working over periods of operating the fridge for a few hours. It gets it cooled initially then seems to fail after a while. Fridge works fantastic on propane but only as of late have I had this issue with electric side. I will surely keep this source in mind for a possible fix. Thank you again.

Is the 2552 electronically controlled? Could it be a problem with the control board? Seems like an electric element should either work or not work. Or perhaps the thermostat if it is not electronically controlled?
