Diamond Plate

I am getting ready to put Diamond Plate on the front of our T 1950. Should I use Metal or Aluminum.? What is most commonly used.
Thanks

Agreed. I have a friend who owns a metal fabrication business and he says aluminum. Since it isn't load bearing, you can go as thin as it comes.
I was axin' 'cause I'm fixin' to do the same thing.

Yes, you want the aluminum.

Here is Lode's post on his. He removed the edging corners but I have seen them done right over the top and it came out well.

Poppy and Nana had theirs done over the top I believe and you would never know it. They did a great job.

Good luck

John
