Determine Roof Construction?

I have a 2006 Sunline Solaris T-2553. How do I determine what my roof is made of and whether or not I can walk on top if it? Thanks so much for the help!

Jeff

The roof is made up of heavy corregated Budboard (think heavy cardboard) with a rubber membrane stretched over it. The roof structure is lightweight wood trusses.

It is NOT a walk on roof. You'll want to get two pieces of plywood and some carpet remenants big enough to span at least three (four is better) roof rafters (they are easy to see). Place the carpet on the roof membrane, then put down the plywood.

Search "roof maintenance" there are many threads on it, including pictures.

There are a lot on our site about water damage and leaks. This is not because they are Sunlines, it was from the prior owners of the club member did not understand how to care for a RV roof, regardless of brand. This Google custom search will help greatly, it is better then the forum search. our Admin made this for us.
